Mental Health Services available at Concord Hospital – Franklin and Concord Hospital – Laconia

Concord Hospital – Franklin

  • DRF (Designated Receiving Facility) – 24-hour care in our inpatient mental health unit. Admissions come from Emergency Departments all over the state. Patients may be admitted for a voluntary or involuntary examination if there is reason to believe that he/she is mentally ill, they are a serious danger to his/her self or others, or they are likely to suffer from neglect or harm if the current behavior continues.

Substance Use Services

  • The LRGHealthcare Recovery Clinic is available at Occupational Health Services at both Franklin Regional Hospital and Hillside Medical Park in Gilford.

  • The Doorway at LRGHealthcare is also available to you.  Simply walk through the front door at LRGH during normal business hours and ask for the Doorway to speak to a recovery coach or dial 211 after hours.

Our Senior Psychiatric Services program was developed to provide patients, families, caregivers, and providers with a place to turn for help in evaluating and treating seniors facing behavioral and psychiatric challenges.

  • Dedicated, geropsychiatric unit, safe, secure facility with trained and experienced staff, 24-hours-a-day

  • Round the clock coverage by psychiatrists

  • Referral line (603-527-7100 ) is answered by qualified staff around the clock

  • Patients receive individualized care in a multidisciplinary team approach

  • Program location within community hospital provides access to all acute care services for co-existing medical conditions

  • Dedicated social worker/care managers work with patients and families during inpatient stay and coordinate discharge plans and follow-up care

Admissions and Consultations

Our Senior Psychiatric Services Unit primarily serves patients who are 55 and older.

A psychiatrist is available 24-hours-a-day for physician consultations. During regular business hours, please call directly at (603) 527-7098. Weekends and evenings please call our Information and Referral line at (603) 527-7100, and a psychiatrist will be paged for you.
